If there’s one thing that has defined the past few months at CES M&E Services, it’s the scale, quality and consistency of our exposed metal containment installations. Across multiple live sites, our teams have delivered thousands of metres of cable tray, forming the backbone of reliable, well-coordinated mechanical and electrical systems.
While often unseen once a project is complete, metal containment plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient and maintainable building services. It’s an area where precision matters – and one where CES takes genuine pride.

Delivering Across Three Very Different Projects
This month’s containment works have spanned three distinct projects, each with its own character, constraints and technical demands:
Channing School – Education
Working within an active educational environment requires careful planning, clear communication and a strong focus on safety. Our teams have installed containment systems designed to support robust, long-term performance while minimising disruption within a live school setting.
Highgate Studios – Commercial Office
At Highgate Studios, a mixed-use commercial development, containment installations form part of an exposed services strategy. Here, the quality of installation is not only functional but visual, with clean lines and galvanised finishes contributing to the building’s industrial aesthetic.
Valor Park – Industrial
Valor Park represents large-scale industrial delivery at its most demanding. With vast floorplates and long service runs, containment installation requires disciplined sequencing, accurate coordination and a methodical approach to maintain consistency across the entire building.

One Constant: Quality and Precision
Despite the differences between these projects, the constant across all three has been precision installation and consistent workmanship. From accurate setting-out to secure fixing and clean alignment, every run of containment reflects the standards CES M&E Services apply across all sectors.
This attention to detail ensures not only a high-quality finish, but also systems that are easier to maintain, adapt and expand over the life of the building.

Supporting Buildings Behind the Scenes
Whether in education, commercial or industrial environments, containment is a critical part of the infrastructure that keeps buildings running smoothly. While rarely seen by end users, it supports the power, data and systems that enable spaces to function effectively day after day.
At CES, we understand that getting these fundamentals right is key to successful MEP delivery.
2026 and beyond
As we continue our mission to improve existing buildings and bring old spaces back to life, projects like these reinforce the importance of skilled teams, strong coordination and pride in workmanship.
